George A. Power is a member of Dell, Moser, Lane & Loughney, LLC, in the firm's Workers' Compensation Litigation Group. Mr. Power graduated from Penn Hills High School, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1992. Thereafter, he attended Denison University in Columbus, Ohio and graduated cum laude in 1996 with a double major in Political Science and Economics. Mr. Power is also a 1999 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law. Mr. Power represents clients ranging from injured individuals to large corporations. However, his practice concentrates on the representation of national corporations, insurance carriers and employers in workers' compensation litigation in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He has represented numerous major corporations, insurance carriers, and private companies before Workers' Compensation Judges, the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Although Mr. Power's practice is concentrated in workers' compensation, he also practices civil defense litigation as well. Mr. Power is an active member of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Allegheny County Bar Association and Pennsylvania Self-Insurers' Association. He has presented several lectures and seminars to employers, corporate risk management departments and insurance carriers pertaining to issues governed by the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act. In 2005, Mr. Power was recognized as one of the top young lawyers in Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia Magazine included Mr. Power in a list of "Rising Stars" of "Super Lawyers" practicing within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
